On April 1, the MBC variety show 'Save Me! Homes' (directed by Jeong Da-hee, Kim Moon-seop, So In-ji, Kim Wan-cheol, Heo Ja-yun) aired its second episode of the 'Cherry Blossom Viewing.'
In this episode, team leader Kim Sook, along with comedian Yoon Jung-soo and actor Koo Bon-seung, embarked on a cherry blossom viewing tour centered around scenic spots, following last week's episode. Attention was focused on whether Kim Sook could complete her real romance, generating excitement from the start.
The first cherry blossom viewing location was a 'European home-style cafe with a view of Seokchon Lake' in Songpa-gu, Songpa-dong. It was a cafe located just a minute's walk from Seokchon Lake Park, a representative cherry blossom spot in Seoul. The tidy terrace and stylish interior were impeccable, and the terrace and second-floor windows offered an unobstructed view of Seokchon Lake.
Next, they visited an 'APT. with a view of the amusement park' located in Seokchon-dong, Songpa-gu. This urban dwelling, situated right in front of Seokchon Lake, featured a duplex studio. The living room's large windows boasted a breathtaking view of both Seokchon Lake and the amusement park, making it a prime location to catch the expressions of people riding on the amusement rides.
The next cherry blossom viewing location was an APT. located in Gwangjin-gu, Gwangjang-dong. As a cherry blossom driving spot near Achasan, the three enjoyed a romantic drive in a convertible along a road lined with 300 cherry blossom trees. The APT. they arrived at after the drive was known as a legendary high-end apartment in northern Seoul, featuring a unique triangular design. The spacious living room offered a view of the Han River, while the dining room faced Achasan.
Following that, they moved on to an APT. located in Seocho-gu, Bangbae-dong. This APT., completed in 1975, showcased a stunning cherry blossom tunnel between the buildings. Despite being an older apartment with a radiator in one corner of the living room, it had been expanded to create an open-feeling terrace, allowing residents to enjoy views of Gwanak Mountain.
The three not only showcased APT.s but also introduced the 'cherry blossom view commercial housing' located in Sangdo-dong, Dongjak-gu. The first and second floors were rented as commercial spaces, while the third and fourth floors were occupied by the owner's household. Each floor had its own private cherry blossom spot, and ample sunlight streamed through the windows, allowing for unhindered views of the cherry blossoms.
Finally, the three enjoyed cherry blossom viewing at the Han River Park in Jamwon before visiting the 'motorized house' in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu. It was the first yacht listing on 'Homes,' located among the yachts moored at the Han River Park. Unlike the large yachts, this smaller yet well-equipped yacht featured a mini kitchen and table. Opening a secret door revealed a cabin complete with a bed, kitchen, and bathroom, capturing attention.
However, only two people could take a yacht ride, and Kim Sook had to choose between her 'ex-husband (?)' Yoon Jung-soo and 'new crush (?)' Koo Bon-seung. After much thought, she chose Koo Bon-seung to enjoy a yacht date, leaving Yoon Jung-soo alone to enjoy 'solitary cuisine' at the Han River.
Next week's MBC 'Save Me! Homes' will air on Thursday at 10 p.m.
