Singer and broadcaster Kim Jong-kook has purchased a luxury villa in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul.

According to the real estate industry on the 2nd, Kim Jong-kook bought a unit with a dedicated area of 243㎡ at the Nonhyeon Apelbaum Phase 2 for 6.2 billion won last month and completed the registration the same day. There are no mortgages on the property. It appears he bought it entirely in cash without any housing mortgage loans.

In the real estate industry, it is presumed that Kim Jong-kook purchased the villa for actual residential purposes. This is because since March, the Gangnam district and Yongsan district in Seoul have been reassigned as land transaction permission zones, making gap investments virtually impossible.

Nonhyeon Apelbaum is a townhouse-style luxury villa located in the area of 260 Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. Together, Phase 1 and Phase 2 consist of a total of 76 units. It is reported that actors Jang Geun-suk and Lee Yo-won also reside here.

Currently residing in Nonhyeon-dong, Kim Jong-kook previously revealed a house piled high with belongings while appearing on SBS's entertainment program 'Running Man', stating, 'I must move by June,' indicating plans for the move.
