The group Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Vernon, Dino) has been recognized for its significant influence in the United States.

Seventeen made the list for the 2025 'A100' announced by Gold House on Dec. 1 (local time), as the only K-pop group included. Gold House is a non-profit organization that supports cultural and artistic figures in the Asia-Pacific region, selecting 100 Asians each year who have made a significant impact on American culture and society.

In particular, Seventeen proved its high global status by being listed on the 'A100' alongside legendary pop star Bruno Mars, acclaimed director Bong Joon-ho, and author Han Kang, who is the first Korean to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Gold House introduced Seventeen as a "K-pop icon" and noted, "They have risen to the top of the music industry through their unique 'self-production' based on the interaction of their distinct units (hip-hop team, performance team, vocal team)." They also said, "As Seventeen celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, they continue to reinvent themselves," adding, "The members are constantly surpassing expectations, leveraging their unending ambitions and limitless musical spectrum."

Seventeen showcased stunning performances in the global music market last year. They reached No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard main album chart with their best album '17 IS RIGHT HERE' and mini album 12 'SPILL THE FEELS.' They also held solo concerts at major stadiums in the United States, Korea, Japan, and other major Asian cities, drawing over 1.5 million attendees combined online and offline in just one year.

Buoyed by such achievements, Seventeen ranked third, the highest position for a K-pop artist, in the 'Global Artist Chart 2024' released by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). They also received honors at the '2024 Billboard Music Awards' and the '2024 MTV Video Music Awards,' both of which are considered major music award ceremonies in the United States.

Seventeen is expected to make its mark once again in the global music market with the release of its 5th studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' on the 26th. The album title combines 'Birthday,' meaning the day of birth, with 'Burst,' signifying explosion, eruption, or start, encapsulating the determination to be reborn as a new Seventeen.
