The KGMA organizing committee announced on the 2nd that the second awards ceremony will take place on November 14 and 15 at Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.

'Korea Grand Music Awards' is an upgraded award ceremony established to propose a new paradigm for the South Korean popular music industry by the Daily Sports, which hosted the 'Golden Disk Awards' for 34 years from 1986 until 2020.

The first KGMA, held on November 16 and 17 last year at Inspire Arena under the theme 'The Birth of Galaxy,' featured a total of 32 artists participating in a spectacular performance. On the first day, Hanni from NewJeans and actress Nam Ji-hyun served as hosts, while on the second day, Winter from aespa and Nam Ji-hyun drew significant attention, with aespa, NewJeans, DAY6, (G)I-DLE, Ateez, and ZEROBASEONE celebrating their awards with the 2024 Grand Trophy.

The '2nd Korea Grand Music Awards' to be held this year will serve as a stage to honor singers and music that have achieved meaningful results in various genres of popular music, such as K-pop and trot, gaining much love from fans at home and abroad throughout the year. It is expected to be a festival where artists and fans come together as one.

'Korea Grand Music Awards' will be a special award ceremony to honor artists who have played a role in spreading K-culture worldwide based on fairness and popularity. To this end, winners will be selected based on fair evaluations by judges composed of top experts in each institutional sector, as well as on digital sound source and album sales and fan participation through mobile voting, creating an award ceremony that K-pop artists and fans can trust.

Additionally, the 'Korea Grand Music Awards' is expected to be a gathering of harmony and solidarity where K-pop legends participate and talented newcomers are discovered, bridging the past, present, and future of K-pop.

'Korea Grand Music Awards' is organized by Daily Sports (Edaily M) and managed by the KGMA organizing committee. The artist lineup, award categories, and judging criteria will be announced sequentially on the homepage and through the voting app, FanCast.
