Hyeon-sook from the 26th season of 'I am SOLO' has risen to become a popular figure.
In the broadcast aired on the 30th, the 26th season's solo men and women were revealed during a special gold episode of the variety show 'I am SOLO' (hereafter 'I am SOLO').
On this day, the first impression choices by the men took place. The solo woman selected by the men had the opportunity to climb 'Stairway to Heaven' together, enjoying the snowy scenery, and concluding with a sweet conversation lasting three minutes.
The first to choose a solo woman was Young-soo, who, without hesitation, selected Hyeon-sook and said, 'Would you like to go enjoy the snowy scenery with me?' Young-soo explained his choice by stating, 'I liked her friendly, gentle appearance and her look of kindness.'
Next, Yeong-ho chose Jeong-sook. He noted, 'I got to see her up close for the first time while helping with the CARRY. Of course, her appearance is small, and I have a favorable impression of her friendly look,' and Jeong-sook also mentioned she was attracted to her friendly image.
Eventually, the two engaged in conversation that exceeded three minutes. Ultimately, the production team intervened to stop them, and Jeong-sook expressed in an interview, 'What girl would dislike nice words? Even if it was cheesy, I felt good. I felt a bit excited. We didn’t forcefully fill the three minutes; we were just chatting, and it seemed like time ran out and we were told to come down.'
The third, Yeong-sik, also chose Hyeon-sook, while Yeong-cheol selected Yeong-ja, who had previously helped with the CARRY. Yeong-cheol explained, 'She matched the mood well and smiled a lot. In a setting where everyone was meeting for the first time, I was attracted to her efforts in leading the conversation.'
Kwang-soo also chose Hyeon-sook and engaged in a conversation. Kwang-soo appealed to her charm by singing, and Hyeon-sook showed that Kwang-soo's words made her laugh. In a subsequent interview, Hyeon-sook commented, 'I don't know if it was because the scenery was beautiful, but the conversation was enjoyable. I felt that the conversations were going well and each person was really attractive. I thought it might be okay to get to know them better.'
Jeong-sook received a selection from Sang-cheol, acquiring two votes. Lastly, Hyeon-sook, who received Yeong-soo's vote, received a total of four votes to rise as the popular figure in the first impression selection. Hyeon-sook remarked, 'I didn't expect it at all. I was really puzzled. I've never experienced anything like this.'
She added, 'Since I have a very specific style that appeals to a small number of niche fans, I was fortunate to have those who expressed their admiration, so it was better than I expected.' On the other hand, Yeong-sook, Ok-soon, and Sun-ja received zero votes, evoking disappointment.
