Singer and broadcaster Lee Sang-min (51) is remarrying a non-celebrity woman 20 years after his divorce. Lee Sang-min noted that he has found someone he loves.
On the 30th of last month, Lee Sang-min posted a photo of a handwritten letter on his Instagram. He first wrote, "You might have been very surprised by this sudden news. I am also quite nervous delivering this news."
He continued, "I have found someone I really love. I want to move forward in the second act of life with her," and added, "She has made me feel that I want to protect her through any hardships, and I believe that if I am with her, I can be happy together for life."
He also shared, "Since she is someone I found late, I have been very careful, and that's why I delayed sharing the news with those around me," and expressed, "You might be surprised, but I would really appreciate it if you could celebrate and bless us together."
He added, "I will live each moment with more responsibility to repay those who continue to support and encourage me."
Lee Sang-min is reported to be secretly preparing for the wedding. It is said that his wedding will be earlier than the upcoming one for comedians Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min, who are set to marry in July.
Lee Sang-min debuted as a member of the mixed group Lula in 1994. He later broadened his career as a music producer and broadcaster. He married actress, singer, and artist Lee Hye-young in 2004, but they divorced after a year.
Currently, he is a regular cast member on various entertainment programs such as SBS' My Little Old Boy, JTBC's Knowing Brothers, and MBN's AltoRan.
