Actor Lim Sae Mi appears on 'Kkokkomu'. In particular, it is expected to draw surprise as she reveals that she is the daughter of Detective Im Man Kyu.

The 173rd episode of SBS 'A Story That Connects Tails' (abbreviated as Kkokkomu), airing today (1st), deals with the shocking human rights violation incident involving female textile workers, titled 'Suspicious Secrets in the Dream Workplace', and the fierce struggle for the restoration of their honor that has continued for 47 years.

In particular, it adds deeper meaning that actor Lim Sae Mi's father has been revealed to be Detective Im Man Kyu, who appeared in the 'Circus Girl Episode'. In this episode, actor Lim Sae Mi, along with actor On Joo Wan and all three members of the Jang Trio, including the actor Jeong Young Joo, who achieved a triple crown, will participate as a listener and deeply empathize with the struggles of the female workers.

Among them, actor Lim Sae Mi shares thoughts on her first appearance on 'Kkokkomu', stating, “I am sharing this for the first time, but my father also appeared here,” surprising Jang Doyoun. Lim Sae Mi's father was Detective Im Man Kyu, who was notable for caring for a victim of abuse like his own daughter in the 'Circus Girl Episode' that aired in February 2024. Thus, Lim Sae Mi expressed, “I ended up appearing like my father. It’s an honor,” sharing her special feelings about her appearance on 'Kkokkomu', setting a record of becoming the first father and daughter to appear together on the program.

In addition, actor Jeong Young Joo has become a listener, having met Jang Doyoun, Jang Hyun Seong, and Jang Seong Gyu, all of whom are MCs of the Jang Trio, and humorously displays the expertise of a seasoned listener by telling MC Jang Seong Gyu, “It’s okay to drop the honorifics.”

That day's broadcast revealed the reality of human rights violations against female workers at a textile factory, shocking viewers. It documented the struggles of female workers fighting for their rights in a factory with poor conditions in the 1970s. The factory threw toxic old excrement at the female workers to hinder their union activities. It was a case where the rights of the female workers, who cried out for labor rights, were thoroughly violated. To obstruct the union activities of female workers at the textile factory at the time, the management threw toxic excrement at them, inciting anger. On Joo Wan expressed his concern over the humiliation that the female workers likely experienced, stating, “I think it will remain as a trauma,” as Lim Sae Mi wept alongside the female workers in the video.

Following the excrement throwing incident, it was revealed that there was an unjust termination of all 124 female workers, and a sinister blacklist was circulated to make it impossible for them to find reemployment after leaving the company, further intensifying curiosity about the truth behind the incident involving female workers at the textile company.

The ongoing struggle for the human rights of female workers at the textile company, which is not a unilateral dismissal but aims for voluntary resignation, will be revealed through the main broadcast of 'Kkokkomu'.

'Kkokkomu' is a program where three 'storytellers' share what they have learned and felt with each of their 'story friends' 1:1 in the most ordinary spaces, airing every Thursday evening at 10:20 p.m.
