Charitable angels among celebrities will once again hit the streets of Myeongdong ahead of Children's Day this year.

On May 3, writer Noh Hee-kyung, along with actors Han Ji-min, Bae Jong-ok, Lee Jung-eun, Lim Sae-mi, Jo Hye-jung, Baek Seung-do, Lee Sang-hee, singers Nana Jin, Lim Hyun-jung, and Tejong, will participate in the 'Gilbut JTS Street Fundraising Campaign.' Gathered to help children in war, civil conflict, disaster, and impoverished areas, they plan to spread a positive influence together with many people joining in the street fundraising.

The 'Gilbut' social service organization for broadcasting, film, and performing arts has been conducting street fundraising events every year ahead of Children's Day since 2004. Excluding four years when the street fundraising was replaced by coal briquette volunteer work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their annual efforts to share warm hearts have created a touching atmosphere.

Leading the street fundraising, writer Noh Hee-kyung noted, "With our small efforts, some will go to school, some will recover from illness, and some will gain life. There is absolutely no reason to stop this small effort," expressing the purpose of the event.

The 'Gilbut JTS Street Fundraising Campaign' is carried out in collaboration with the Korean JTS, a United Nations humanitarian organization, and 'Gilbut.' The theme of the campaign is "Please help children in war, civil conflict, disaster, and impoverished areas." It was planned to provide food, medicine, and other assistance to children who are dying without even receiving treatment for simple diseases due to chronic malnutrition, poor medical environments, and seemingly never-ending poverty. The funds raised through street fundraising will become food that sustains life for children, education that helps them plan for the future, and hope for a new life.

Meanwhile, the 'Gilbut JTS Street Fundraising Campaign' will take place on Saturday, May 3, starting at 1 p.m. at Myeongdong Hana Play Park.
