Actress Go Youn-jung shared a story about almost appearing in the film "Parasite."
On the broadcast of tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" on the 30th, actress Go Youn-jung mentioned her audition for the film "Parasite."
Go Youn-jung said, "The expense for the art college entrance exam must have been considerable, but I couldn't ask for money to attend an acting academy. I worked part-time at an art academy and modeled for advertisements to earn money for tuition," and added, "To study, I watched five films a day like a stamp breaker."
Go Youn-jung said, "I don't draw alone. Even if I don't become an actress, I wanted to be a part of the filmmaking team, whether in the art team, lighting, or props team."
Go Youn-jung commented on her popular photo, saying, "It was amazing that they captured me more beautifully than in real life." She mentioned that she auditioned for the film "Parasite" in the past, specifically for the role of Jo Yeong-jung's daughter played by actress Jeong Ji-so.
Go Youn-jung said, "I don’t clearly remember it like a dream. It was amazing, like seeing a celebrity. Director Bong Joon-ho said I resembled actress Jo Yeong-jung. Since I was supposed to be her daughter, I thought it would be nice to resemble her, and I heard I was one of the candidates."
Go Youn-jung talked about the drama "Moving." She said, "Before, I heard more often that people enjoyed the drama. After "Moving," I heard a lot that people enjoyed my work."
Go Youn-jung said, "Right now, it’s so much fun. I used to think that ignorance was bliss, but now that I'm gradually learning more on set, I'm realizing it's enjoyable. I’m more excited than worried about the next shoot."
