Wonder Girls' Hyerim revealed her parents' home in Hong Kong for the first time on 'The Return of Superman.'

On the broadcast of KBS2TV's entertainment program 'The Return of Superman' (hereafter 'The Return'), which aired on the 30th, Hyerim visited her parents in Hong Kong with her eldest son Siwoo and husband Shin Min-cheol. Hyerim stated that this visit to Hong Kong comes after spending over a year since her second son Sian's pregnancy.

The luxurious mansion equipped with a gym, indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, and indoor sports hall was Hyerim's parents' home in Hong Kong. Park Soo-hong exclaimed, 'Wow, so Hyerim is from a wealthy family!' in surprise. Additionally, the house was remodeled in a Korean style, creating a spacious atmosphere, featuring three rooms and two bathrooms.

Hyerim humbly noted, 'This house was bought by my parents when the prices collapsed during the IMF crisis. However, the value has increased tenfold.'

Hyerim shared, 'I used to sit at the desk by the window and checked the results of my JYP audition there,' revealing the room she used back then. Hyerim's bedroom, along with her parents' bedroom which also served as her practice room, was showcased. Her mother, Kong Jeong-ran, clarified, 'This room was originally Hyerim's bedroom. Shin Min-cheol has also stayed here. But now it has become a dress room,' revealing the changed home.

Her father, Woo Jong-pil, recalled, 'At that time, we were financially struggling, so we sent my eldest son to live with his grandfather in the countryside and cried.' He added, 'I sent my 8-year-old son to his grandfather when he was in elementary school. When we left, I took him to the school gate, and while he was walking, he was kicking the ground, but he didn't look back. Seeing that made me cry a lot,' reminiscing about the difficult times.

Now, Woo Jong-pil operates five taekwondo studios in Hong Kong as a fully-fledged taekwondo instructor alongside his son. Shin Min-cheol proudly stated, 'He has established a reputation in Hong Kong solely through kicking and punching. There are five studios owned by my father-in-law here,' showcasing his wife's family. On that day, Shin Min-cheol, Woo Jong-pil, and Siwoo's uncle and Hyerim's brother, Woo Tae-kwon, also drew attention by demonstrating taekwondo forms.
