Wang Sik's comments reveal deep feelings in the family drawing.. 'Shock' psychological state

In 'Sololaseo,' Wang Sik, the first son of actress Hwang Jung-eum, revealed complex emotions and wounds while drawing a family picture.

On the broadcast of SBS Plus 'Sololaseo' on 29th, Wang Sik had a session with a child psychology counselor, during which he created an honest drawing about his recent feelings and family relationships.

The counselor on that day noted, "Wang Sik's drawing clearly contains the emotions of the eldest child who is gradually losing his presence within the family." They interpreted, "A child who used to be in the center is now pushed to the edge of the drawing and is far away from his mother, with his younger brother, Kang Sik, always present in between."

Hwang Jung-eum watched this and said, "Since my husband left the house, I have been living for myself. I think I trusted my mom too much," expressing her guilt. The counselor emphasized, "From the child's perspective, a mother and a grandmother can never be the same. A mother is always number one to a child."

Additionally, Wang Sik's drawing captured an unconscious desire to "go back to childhood." The feelings of longing for the time when he fully received his mother's love, before his younger brother existed, were vividly depicted in the drawing. Notably, while drawing, Wang Sik hesitated and asked, "Do I have to draw Dad too?" This question was not just simple; it indicated that even in the drawing, he was unsure how to deal with 'Dad,' who had become a distant figure in Wang Sik's life.

The expert advised that "time and space alone with the child are necessary," stating, "It doesn't have to be long. Even 20 minutes a day spent alone with Wang Sik can help him regain his center." Hwang Jung-eum nodded deeply, saying, "I will start right now."

Meanwhile, Hwang Jung-eum married businessman Lee Yeong-don, a former professional golfer, in 2016 and has two sons, but announced her divorce last February. Hwang Jung-eum is currently appearing in SBS Plus 'Sololaseo' and confessed that she is maintaining a natural relationship with her ex-husband for the sake of their two sons.
