Broadcaster Lee Sang-min is remarrying a non-celebrity partner after 20 years.
On the 30th, a media outlet reported that Lee Sang-min is scheduled to hold a wedding with a younger non-celebrity partner in early summer.
According to the report, it is known that Lee Sang-min has been secretly preparing for marriage with his partner, with whom he has been having a good relationship. The wedding timing is expected to be earlier than the upcoming wedding of Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min, scheduled for July.
Lee Sang-min, who married actress and artist Lee Hye-young in 2004 but divorced the following year, has been revealing his single life through appearances on SBS programs "My Little Old Boy" and "My Little Old Boy." There has been interest in whether Lee Sang-min will leave the program due to his upcoming marriage.
In this regard, SBS stated to OSEN, "It is true that Mr. Lee Sang-min is remarrying a non-celebrity," and "relevant content will be aired on 'My Little Old Boy' on May 11."
However, regarding Lee Sang-min's departure from the program, it expressed a cautious stance, saying, "There have been no discussions yet about his future appearances on the currently airing programs."
Earlier, Lee Sang-min hinted at having been meeting someone through various programs since last year. He mentioned his last partner, referred to as 'Daege Girl,' on 'My Little Old Boy' in 2023, stating that he wanted to buy her snow crab even if he had to borrow money.
Kim Jun-ho, upon seeing a photo of the woman on camera, remarked, "She is pretty. She reminds me of Kim Hee-sun and Kim Jun-hee." Lee Sang-min responded, "This doesn't do her justice. She is really beautiful," and he revealed that they dated for 3 to 4 years. As for the reason for their breakup, he stated, "There is a story behind it," and kept his remarks brief.
In a previous broadcast, when asked, "Did you have someone you considered marrying?" Lee Sang-min replied, "It's not the time to discuss that yet. It's more about meeting someone I already know than meeting a new person," adding, "The moment I open my heart to dating, something bubbles up. Not much progress has been made yet, but I have a plan in my heart."
In another broadcast, Lee Sang-min made a surprise confession, saying, "There is someone I got very close to before we went out together," and added, "We have mutual feelings. She is someone I broke up with and then got back together with, so I'm more cautious." He mentioned that it was his last girlfriend from 10 years ago, with whom he met during a tough time, saying, "She understands me very well. She's quite an intelligent person," which further piqued curiosity.
