In 'Dad and I,' Lee Geon-joo confessed to the existence of his biological younger sibling who was adopted abroad.
On the 29th episode of TV Chosun's 'Dad and I,' actor and shaman Lee Geon-joo had a meal with Han Su-hyeon, who appeared on 'Possessed Love,' and Han Sang-jin, Han Su-hyeon's biological brother.
Regarding his visit to Osaka, Lee Geon-joo explained, 'I met my mom not long ago. I met my mom, I have crossed mountains I needed to overcome, and I have completed the homework I needed to do, so it feels like a reward vacation given to me.'
Regarding the travel companions, Lee Geon-joo stated, 'It is Han Sang-jin, the biological brother of Shin Dong-sibling Han Su-hyeon.' He also mentioned that Han Sang-jin is almost like a biological brother to him. When asked if Han Su-hyeon and his sibling felt uncomfortable, he replied that they actually liked it.
Lee Geon-joo added, 'If I had a younger sibling, would I be able to get along as well as you do?' He continued, becoming emotional and shedding tears. In the interview, Lee Geon-joo mentioned, 'I wish I had a younger sibling, an older brother, and an older sister. I have always had a longing for siblings.'
Returning to his accommodations, Lee Geon-joo confessed, 'I feel like I never went on trips with my family. There are many people who travel with their families. I thought, 'What if I had traveled with my family?'
In the interview, Lee Geon-joo surprised everyone by revealing that he has a biological younger sibling, stating, 'I heard that my biological sibling was adopted right after birth through a welfare agency. I believe they are currently in France.'
Lee Geon-joo stated, 'My aunt told me that I have a younger brother who is two years younger than me. His name is Lee Geon-cheol.' When asked how he felt upon learning of his biological sibling's existence, Lee Geon-joo responded, 'I felt sorry. At first, it was an abstract happiness. It was joy, but then I came to my senses and felt so sorry. To be honest, I was abandoned. I went to a foreign place.'
