It has already been 17 years since former Monday Kids member Kim Min-soo (the late) passed away, but he still remains in the hearts of his fans.

Kim Min-soo of Monday Kids was involved in an accident on April 29, 2008, at around 6:24 a.m., while riding a motorcycle in the direction of a crossroad in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, hitting a tree. He was transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away at the age of 24.

The late Kim Min-soo had also been involved in a traffic accident the year before his fatal accident, which required him to undergo treatment at the hospital for more than six months. After wrapping up the recording for his third album, he was returning home on his motorcycle from Hapjeong-dong when he collided with a car, suffering damage to his knee's anterior cruciate ligament and cartilage, which necessitated surgery.

After a long period of hospital treatment and recovery, Kim Min-soo released his third album and was actively engaged in activities when he suffered such an unfortunate accident. The entertainment industry was engulfed in great sadness as he left this world at the tender age of 24, and fans and the public were in shock.

As he began his activities for the third album, he expressed his determination, stating, "Motorcycles are really scary. For all the people who have worried about me, I will work even harder."

The late Kim Min-soo released the album "Bye Bye Bye" with Monday Kids in 2005, receiving a lot of love for his outstanding vocal abilities and unique musical style. He was praised for his distinctive deep and resonant sound, along with his mid-low husky tone. Additionally, he gained positive feedback for releasing the single "Love Actually" with his senior singer and mentor Jang Hye-jin.

Meanwhile, after Kim Min-soo's death, Monday Kids officially declared disbandment in November 2008 and ceased to use the team name, later re-forming as a three-member group in 2010, which they maintained for four years. Afterward, Lee Jin-seong led Monday Kids alone.
