The agency of actress Oh Min-ae urged caution regarding fake accounts.
On the 28th, Bomm Entertainment announced through its official SNS, "Recently, there have been increased reports of personal DMs received from an SNS account impersonating actress Oh Min-ae."
It added, "Actress Oh Min-ae does not personally contact anyone via Facebook or Instagram under any circumstances or make monetary demands," emphasizing, "Any account other than the actress's official SNS account is a fake account."
It also noted, "Fans are urged to be particularly cautious. We deeply appreciate your active reports and interest. Thank you."
Meanwhile, Oh Min-ae appeared in the work 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' which depicts the adventurous lives of the rebellious Seon-hee (played by IU) born in Jeju in the 1960s and the bumbling Gwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum) through the four seasons.
In the play, Oh Min-ae took on the role of Gyeo-ok, who is Gwan-sik's mother and Seon-hee's mother-in-law, showcasing a strong performance.
Prior to this, Oh Min-ae played the role of Yeon-jin's (Lim Ji-yeon) mother-in-law and Ha Do-young's (Jung Seong-il) mother in the Netflix series 'The Glory,' leaving a short but strong impression.
