MISAMO, the first unit of TWICE, participates in the soundtrack of a Japanese film, enhancing the immersion of the work with a warm sentiment.

Formed by Mina, Sana, and Momo, MISAMO, TWICE's first unit group, released the OST 'Message' for the Japanese film 'Kakukakushikajika' (And, Again) at 12 a.m. on April 28.

'Message' is a song that embodies warm yet lonely feelings. The jacket image, depicting the protagonist gazing at the sea under a refreshing sky, conveys tranquility and was crafted directly by Akiko Higashimura, the original author and scriptwriter of the movie. The soft vocals of Mina, Sana, and Momo harmonize with the visual mood to deliver an emotional impact. A special video released on TWICE's official Japanese social media channel collaborates with the original illustrations, immersing viewers in the stories contained within the work and the song.

The film 'Kakukakushikajika,' based on the eponymous comic, is set to premiere locally on May 16, and the OST 'Message' sung by MISAMO is available for listening on various music streaming platforms.

MISAMO successfully completed its first dome tour, gathering a total of 250,000 spectators across six performances in three regions of Japan in January. As part of the 'MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 “HAUTE COUTURE”', solo concerts were held at the Saitama Veruna Dome and Osaka Kyocera Dome in November 2024, and they achieved the record for the fastest entry of a female artist onto the Tokyo Dome stage about 1 year and 6 months after their local debut in July 2023.

Meanwhile, TWICE will release their fifth best album in Japan, '#TWICE5', on May 14. The new release includes the pre-released song 'Talk that Talk -Japanese ver.-', along with the Japanese versions of 'SET ME FREE' and 'ONE SPARK'. Following that, on August 2 (local time), they will serve as headliners at the large music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, showcasing the presence of 'the global top girl group'.
