A tragedy strikes the peaceful daily life of Ham Eun-jung.
The new daily drama 'The Queen's House' (directed by Hong Seok-goo and Hong Eun-mi, written by Kim Min-joo), which will air for the first time at 7:50 p.m. today on KBS 2TV, is about a woman who firmly believed she had a perfect life, but after having her life completely taken away, embarks on a journey of revenge to reclaim her life.
In photos released ahead of today's premiere, Kang Jae-in (played by Ham Eun-jung) sends a loving gaze filled with infinite affection to her husband, while Hwang Gi-chan (played by Park Yoon-jae) is seen looking at his wife affectionately. Jae-in goes out to see her husband off as he leaves for work early in the morning. Until just before Gi-chan gets into the car, the two exchange cheesy remarks, evoking a newlywed excitement.
Jae-in's mother, Choi Ja-young (played by Lee Sang-sook), shows signs of discomfort after seeing her husband and son-in-law off to work. Ja-young is displeased with her daughter Jae-in's one-sided affection towards Gi-chan. She has never recognized Gi-chan as her son-in-law from the beginning, raising curiosity about what impact the tangled history between the two will have on the unfolding of the plot.
Meanwhile, Jae-in's face, twisted with fear, suggests that something shocking has occurred, differing from her previously bright demeanor. One day, while living a happy daily life as usual, Jae-in receives a shocking phone call. Following this, Jae-in and her family become engulfed in fear, and this incident triggers unwanted truths and unforeseen trials for her.
Will Jae-in be able to protect the ordinary life she so desired? Who is the person behind the call? Expectations for today's premiere are skyrocketing.
