The production team maintained a position of "undecided" regarding the release of "Culinary Class Wars: Season 2."
On the 28th, a representative from the Netflix entertainment program "Culinary Class Wars: Season 2 (abbreviated as Culinary Class Wars 2)" stated to OSEN, "Aside from previously indicating that it is scheduled for release in the second half of the year, no specific release date has been determined. The October release is not true."
On that day, a media outlet reported that "Culinary Class Wars 2" is expected to be released on Netflix in October. The program is generating excitement as Chef Baek Jong-won from Theborn Korea and Chef Anh Sung-jae are set to return. The production team has drawn a line regarding this.
"Culinary Class Wars" is a survival entertainment program depicting a fierce battle in the cooking class war among 100 chefs, where the "black spoon" chefs, known for their exceptional taste, challenge South Korea's top star chefs, the "white spoon" chefs. Last September, Season 1 was released as a 12-episode series and garnered phenomenal popularity and acclaim.
Buoyed by this success, filming for Season 2 began at the end of March. In "Culinary Class Wars 2," Baek Jong-won and Anh Sung-jae will also appear as judges, continuing from Season 1.
