Singer Daesung successfully concluded his solo concert.
Daesung held the 'DAESUNG 2025 ASIA TOUR: D’s WAVE IN SEOUL' on the 26th and 27th at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, and met with fans.
Recently, Daesung opened the concert with the title track 'Universe' from his mini-album and premiered stages of new tracks such as 'Last Girl (with Han Yo Han)', 'JUMP', and raised the excitement from the beginning.
He then stimulated tender emotions with 'Falling Slowly', 'Light', 'Smile', and 'Baby Don't Cry', while also showcasing songs from his Japanese activities, such as '歌うたいのバラッド', 'Rainy Rainy', and 'Dress', garnering explosive cheers from the audience.
The guest lineup, which highlighted wonderful fidelity, also drew a warm response. On the 26th, BIGBANG's Taeyang appeared as a special guest and delivered a unique performance, and on the 27th, Taeyang and G-Dragon took the stage together, presenting BIGBANG's complete performances, including 'HOME SWEET HOME', 'BANG BANG BANG', and 'Manjeongsin', creating unforgettable memories for the fans.
In particular, BIGBANG members drew attention as they met again at Daesung's solo concert about 28 days after performing together at G-Dragon's solo concert held on the 30th of last month.
This concert was Daesung's first domestic solo performance, showcasing his enhanced musical capabilities and excellent stage presence. With dazzling stage production, high-quality live performances, and heartfelt communication, it cemented Daesung's unique presence and delivered emotional experiences and quality beyond expectations, given that it was a long-awaited show.
After concluding the performance, Daesung conveyed his feelings through a handwritten letter, stating, 'After a busy year filled with albums, performances, and broadcasts, it is especially meaningful for me to hold my first solo concert in Seoul today. I am very happy and grateful that the moment I dreamt of while watching Taeyang's performance at this venue last year has become a reality.'
He added, 'Although taking on new challenges is never easy, I was able to create this stage thanks to the company members who believed in and supported me, and above all, to all the fans who sent me tremendous love. I sincerely thank everyone who joined us today, and I hope we can continue to build our own memories even thicker in the future.'
Meanwhile, after successfully concluding the 'D’s WAVE' Seoul concert, Daesung will continue his tour in Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, and Yokohama.
