Actor Choi Min-young captured attention with a realistic character portrayal in 'Weak Hero Class 2.'
After captivating global fans as Dae in the Netflix hit teen drama 'All the Boys I've Loved Before' (hereinafter referred to as 'All the Boys'), Choi Min-young is currently continuing to excel in a new character in 'Weak Hero Class 2.'
The Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class 2' depicts the harrowing survival story and brilliant coming-of-age tale of a model student, Yeon Si-eun, who transferred to Eunjanggo after confronting violence for a friend but ultimately could not protect them. Amid this, the previously released 'Weak Hero Class 1' debuted at No. 2 in the global TOP 10 series (non-English) institutional sector, gaining immense popularity, and Class 2 is also receiving favorable reviews from viewers upon its release.
In 'Weak Hero Class 2,' Choi Min-young plays Seo Jun-tae, a target of the local bullies at Eunjanggo, where Yeon Si-eun (played by Park Ji-hoon) transferred. Although he is initially timid in school life, he is a character with a twist who resolves to change after meeting Yeon Si-eun. Notably, Choi Min-young has completed his character with delicate expression, and since the release, positive reviews about his acting have continued. Moreover, at a recent production presentation, Head Planner Han Joon-hee described Seo Jun-tae as 'a weak hero in the truest sense,' drawing a lot of attention to his character's performance.
Previously, Choi Min-young has been expanding his activities beyond Korea to the international stage through global works. Having made a mark globally with seasons 1 and 2 of the Netflix series 'XO, Kitty,' he is proving his acting skills with another character in 'Weak Hero Class 2.' As interest builds in 'Weak Hero Class,' following 'XO, Kitty,' there is growing anticipation for Choi Min-young's future endeavors on the world stage.
Meanwhile, 'Weak Hero Class 2,' featuring Choi Min-young, is available exclusively on Netflix.
