In 'Seulgi's Great Medical Life,' Go Youn-jung proved to be a resident with a hot soul despite her cynical aspect.

The episode aired on the 27th of the tvN weekend drama 'Seulgi's Great Medical Life' (written by Kim Song-hee, directed by Lee Min-soo), revealed a calm yet passionate side of Oh Yi-young (played by Go Youn-jung).

Oh Yi-young, who has unrequited feelings for her brother-in-law and senior resident Gu Do-won (played by Jung Jun-won), focused her attention on him while grumbling about her feelings.

Oh Yi-young said, "I could go alone, but my brother-in-law insisted I come with him. They say he made baeksuk, too. I think he helped us recover our health," and tried to engage in conversation. However, she became upset with Gu Do-won, who seemed distracted. At that moment, Myung Eun-won (played by Kim Hye-in) subtly mentioned over the phone that Gu Do-won was made the second author of a paper, making him lose focus. When Oh Yi-young heard at the hospital desk that the paper would even win an award, she muttered, "Damn it," as if she didn’t care if anyone heard.

Oh Yi-young's such aspect also appeared with a patient in obstetrics. The husband, whom she thought was a loving person, turned out to be someone who absolutely should not remove the patient's uterus just for the sake of the second child.

Oh Yi-young calmly cursed, saying, "This is totally insane. Is this what you say in this situation, you bastard?" Most of Oh Yi-young's lines were beeped out, surprising everyone.

Thus, Oh Yi-young said, "The patient insisted I convey this. Otherwise, she will be discharged," showing that she had relayed the patient's words. The patient whispered again, and Oh Yi-young responded, "There is still more left," startling the husband.

Oh Yi-young then urged Myung Eun-won, saying, "You didn’t apologize to Gu Do-won," which visibly flustered Myung Eun-won. The reserved Myung Eun-won found it hard to apologize, but Oh Yi-young, with her distinct confident cynical gaze, urged Myung Eun-won to apologize to Gu Do-won.
