'Choihwajeong and Kim Hoyoung's I've Missed You' revealed Juwon's thorough self-management.
In the eighth episode of the ENA entertainment show 'Choihwajeong and Kim Hoyoung's I've Missed You,' which aired on the 27th, actor Juwon appeared as a guest.
On that day, Choihwajeong noted, “You called the catering truck. Normally, when a catering truck comes, it feels like a Korean buffet, but there was a hamburger truck. The staff went crazy. But the important thing is this person doesn’t eat.”
Juwon said, “At that time, I couldn’t eat,” and Choihwajeong retorted, “Why couldn’t you eat? You’re in a group photo, but you don’t eat.” Surprised, Kim Hoyoung asked, “What did you eat then?” and Juwon replied, “I just brought boiled chicken breast, sweet potatoes, and salad and ate those.”
Juwon revealed that this has been his diet since his broadcasting debut, showing his thorough self-management. He said, “I can’t say this is a good method, but back then, I weighed over 90 kg during the musical ‘Spring Awakening.’ But the next project was ‘Baker King Kim Takgu.’”
He continued, “When I did ‘Baker King Kim Takgu,’ I was 65 kg. So, I couldn’t make my broadcasting debut weighing over 90 kg. I had to lose weight, and at that time, the best method for me was to cut carbohydrates. That’s when it all started.”
Despite standing at a tall 185 cm, he began his broadcasting debut at 65 kg. Kim Hoyoung asked, “Isn’t there something called a cheat day where you reward yourself once in a while?” to which Juwon replied, “On cheat days, I go to places like this,” indicating a favorite traditional Korean restaurant.
