The figure of the eight-legged monster that occupied the body of King Kim Ji-hoon in "Haunted Palace" was depicted.

In the episode aired on the afternoon of the 25th on SBS's fantasy historical drama "Haunted Palace," Kang-cheol (Yook Seong-jae) was shown summoning the eight-legged monster to save Yeori (Kim Ji-yeon), who was in danger.

Earlier, Yeori learned that Yoon Gap-nari had been eaten by the eight-legged monster. Upon seeing Yoon Gap-nari being dragged by the eight-legged monster, Yeori covered her nose due to the foul smell, saying, "The energy of a deep grudge. I've never seen anything this severe before." Yoon Gap briefly appeared due to Yeori's prayer, but Yoon Gap-nari was in a state of having been eaten by the eight-legged monster.

Kang-cheol (Yook Seong-jae) mentioned Yoon Gap to Yeori, saying, "He witnessed you driving away the one-legged monster. That's why he brought you here. He asked for you to remove the eight-legged monster that possessed the original. He deceived you. You were used by him."

Confronted by the eight-legged monster, Yeori pretended to offer her body. Later, Yeori set up a gold thread in an attempt to extract the eight-legged monster from Lee Gwang's body, but the situation grew perilous.

Kang-cheol appeared and saved Yeori. To save Lee Gwang, even King Lee Jeong (Kim Ji-hoon) showed up, and Kang-cheol was hit by an arrow fired by a court official. With Kang-cheol's help, Yeori managed to guide the eight-legged monster out of Lee Gwang's body. Towards the end of the broadcast, the eight-legged monster re-entered Lee Jeong's body, shocking everyone.
