Former ‘Fin.K.L’ member Sung Yuri (44) is returning to home shopping. This comes four months after her husband, professional golfer Ahn Seong-hyun (44), was imprisoned.
GS Home Shopping uploaded a promotional video for a new program on social media (SNS) on the 25th. GS Home Shopping said, “The star of the new program is South Korea's legendary wannabe, Ms. Sung Yuri,” adding, “We ask for your interest and anticipation for the first broadcast of 'Sung Yuri Edition' at 9:45 p.m. on the 30th.” GS Home Shopping introduced 'Sung Yuri Edition' as a program to solve shopping concerns.
Earlier, GS Home Shopping revealed a video showing Sung Yuri’s back, announcing her return. A lending company also released photos of Sung Yuri during the GS Home Shopping shoot.
Sung Yuri had temporarily halted her broadcasting activities following Ahn's imprisonment. Ahn was indicted on charges of receiving cash amounting to 3 billion won, two luxury watches valued at a total of 400 million won, and high-end restaurant membership cards in exchange for coin listing requests from Kang Jong-hyun, who has been known as the actual owner of Bithumb, from September to November 2021. In December of last year, the first trial court sentenced Ahn to 4 years and 6 months in prison and ordered his imprisonment.
Sung Yuri married Ahn in 2017 and gave birth to twin daughters in 2022, five years later.
