On the 26th, 'I Want to Know That' delves into the mystery of the disappearance of Kim Ju-cheol, who has been missing for 10 years since vanishing in Inje Valley.

A father who has not returned for 10 years.

Kim Ju-cheol, who was so loving that he was called a 'son fool' while raising two children alone after his divorce, disappeared without a trace on May 3, 2015. It has already been 10 years since Kim Ju-cheol (who was 45 at the time) went missing near Inje Valley in Gangwon Province, after he had promised his two sons what to do for Children's Day. His siblings are still searching near the valley with a glimmer of hope.

Two days before his disappearance, Kim Ju-cheol left home wearing light clothing after leaving his children with his ex-wife. On the day of his disappearance, he briefly stopped by a scuba shop in Yangyang, Gangwon Province. Afterwards, CCTV captured his image driving a vehicle heading towards Inje Valley at 6:10 p.m., which was the last sighting of him. At around 9:12 p.m., his mobile phone's battery was forcefully disconnected, severing communication.

Suspicious companion, only one person returned?

"Life isn’t worth living, and I have thoughts of wanting to die.

He even asked his girlfriend to get him cyanide."

- Lee Cheol-jin (pseudonym) / last witness

Friends are convinced that Kim Ju-cheol had no reason to disappear and leave his two sons behind, but there was one person who claimed otherwise. Lee Cheol-jin (pseudonym), a defector who was close to Kim Ju-cheol, has been revealed to have been with him from May 1 until the day he went missing. In the last CCTV footage of Kim Ju-cheol, Lee was spotted sitting in the passenger seat of his vehicle.

Once it was confirmed that he had visited the Yangyang scuba shop together, Lee stated that he had parted ways with Kim Ju-cheol there. However, when footage was captured of them together heading towards Inje Valley, he changed his statement to say they had camped together in the valley. He claimed that after drinking together, he woke up in the early morning and Kim Ju-cheol told him to go ahead, which is why he returned alone.

The 10-hour mystery tracked by the last clue.

"Lee graduated from Kim Il-sung University,

and was said to be from a North Korean special forces unit."

- Kim Ju-cheol's acquaintance

Lee introduced himself as a former elite infiltration agent and the adopted son of a hospital director at a university hospital. How much of Lee's ambiguous statement, the last witness and suspect, is the truth? What happened to Kim Ju-cheol during the 10 hours before Lee was captured on the last CCTV footage and left alone in the early morning?

The family of Kim Ju-cheol and the police have been continuously searching the mountains and reservoirs near the valley. The production crew tracked possible burial sites with the last mobile phone base station of Kim Ju-cheol, along with a mountain rescue expert. Where could Kim Ju-cheol, who remains a victim of a murder case without a body, be? What answers will Lee provide regarding the suspicious circumstances pointing to him?

This week, SBS 'I Want to Know That' will be broadcast on the 26th at 11:10 p.m.
