HYBE launches a large project aimed at revitalizing the Latin music market. The music competition program 'Pase a la Fama' created in collaboration with HYBE Latin America and the U.S. broadcaster Telemundo marks the starting point.

According to HYBE Latin America on the 25th, a survival music competition program 'Pase a la Fama' to discover Mexican bands will debut on June 8 (based on U.S. time) on the U.S. TV channel Telemundo. Telemundo, a Spanish-language broadcaster under NBCUniversal, is loved by Latin viewers across the U.S. through diverse content, including drama, reality, and news.

Musicians with diverse backgrounds and potential flocked to the auditions. Among them, only 55 will be selected to participate in the 'Pase a la Fama' artist camp. During the competition, a systematic training process and intense competition will be vividly introduced. The winners (team) who are ultimately selected as band members will receive a prize of $100,000 and the opportunity to sign a record contract with HYBE Latin America.

This program, which means 'steps toward dreams' in Korean, also features masters of Latin music. Edgar Barrera, a 21-time winner of the Latin Grammy Awards and recipient of the 57th Grammy Award, will produce the program's theme song and original music. Legendary Mexican musicians will serve as judges. Iconic singer and actress Ana Bárbara, known for her music that traverses tradition and modernity, and hit songwriter Horacio Palencia, considered one of the most influential musicians in Latin music, will select hidden gems among the participants.

Isaac Lee, chairman of HYBE Latin America, noted, '"Pase a la Fama" is a love letter to the intrinsic power of music and the process of creating something unforgettable, stating, "Starting from the roots of the artist to reaching HYBE's global vision, this series will show what possibilities are realized when talent and opportunity meet."

Javier Pons, chief content officer at Telemundo Studios, expressed, "I am glad to partner with HYBE Latin America to convey the importance of music in various ways," saying, "Music fans around the world will witness the talent, energy, individuality, and dreams of a new generation seeking success in today's music industry through Pase a la Fama."
