Ailee's husband and actor Choi Si-hoon, who appeared on 'Solitary Hell,' revealed his plans for a second child.
On the 23rd, a video titled "Congratulations on Choi Si-hoon and Ailee's Marriage" was uploaded on the 'Kiu Giwoo' channel.
On this day, Choi Si-hoon visited 'Giwoo' to tidy up his hairstyle, two weeks before the wedding. When asked how he met Ailee, he said, "It's not Jun-woo. We had no customers in our store, so he asked if he could bring her to a tea time after a long time, which is when we first greeted each other. There was really nothing when we first met. It's because we didn't have each other's preferred style. My wife had no interest in me at all, and I just thought, 'Oh, it's a celebrity.' That was about it."
He said, "Jun-woo and I have our birthdays about a day or two apart. So, he invited me to a concert. My wife. I saw my wife's truly wonderful side at the concert. My wife greeted me," adding, "My wife thought it was me even from a distance. At that moment, I was just smitten and fell in love. So, I worked hard to win her over."
In response, Giwoo asked, "Isn't it burdensome to be a celebrity? Wouldn't there be thoughts like, can I make a move?" Choi Si-hoon said, "It's totally burdensome. At first, I didn't have the thought of needing to win her over because of those feelings; I just wanted to get closer as a fan. But two weeks later, there was a concert in Busan, and I followed her there. We talked a lot at that time, and the celebrity aspect disappeared. She felt very human, and I thought that I wanted to date this person and protect her." He went on to say, "At our age, it's not typical for guys to be brave towards women. It's kind of cautious. Even if there's some interest, it's not easy to meet. It's amazing how we met like that."
He mentioned that it has been a year and a half since they met, saying, "When we had only been together for three months, I booked the venue first. Initially, we talked about marriage. We thought, should we get married two or three years later? While discussing that, we started meeting. I also thought about getting married in two or three years, but since we're at it, should we do it quickly? So I booked the venue first. But it seems like I did the right thing," he said, and Giwoo agreed, stating, "If we hadn't done that, we might not have done it. Once you start thinking about it, it's endless, right? Just going for it is the way to go."
Giwoo asked, "Are you living together now? Isn't living together different from dating?" Choi Si-hoon replied, "It's good. Of course, since it's my first time living together, there are also difficulties. Not having personal time, that's one. But the previous house was really big. My wife lived alone in a house about 90 pyeong. I lived there for about a year with my wife. A very big house wasn't great. It's good for newlyweds to be close and talk a lot, but since the house is too big, sometimes, when we're apart, I need to search for a long time to find where she is. The house felt empty. If something goes missing, it's hard to find it."
Choi Si-hoon, who revealed that he has already registered his marriage, asked, "There aren't any plans for a second child yet, right?" to which he replied, "There are. My wife wants to do it quickly. So, I started quitting smoking. They say I need to detox my sperm. So, I heard it should be at least three months. It's been about two weeks now."
Regarding his approach to winning her over, he revealed, "I barely talk. I'm an introvert, so I think my wife saw that first. When I suddenly became very proactive, she probably recognized that. I'm really good to her. I must make myself indispensable to the point where I can't live without her." He continued, "So what have you done so far?" to which he replied, "Thinking back, I haven’t done anything extraordinary, but I do everything in daily life. Just like when I go to Busan, I do something passionately. If she's sick, I bring gifts when I go to see her."
In particular, when asked for his thoughts on the upcoming marriage, Choi Si-hoon said, "Lately, I'm nervous. I'm feeling it now, and I had a dream. In the dream, there were too many guests, and the catering costs were extremely high," causing laughter. The producer said, "I thought you meant you were nervous because you were looking forward to the wedding," and Choi Si-hoon replied, "I'm nervous about that too. As an introvert, having a wedding is scary. With so many people around. I might faint."
Meanwhile, Ailee and Choi Si-hoon are set to have their wedding on the 21st in a certain location in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and will head to Dubai and the Maldives for their honeymoon.
