Thama revisits Kim Hyun-chul's hidden gem, "Nevertheless," which was released 30 years ago. This is the first project of the remake brand 'HIGHKOLOR,' planned by the music creative group 'the ESKIMO.' Thama reinterprets it in a modern R&B style, delivering it in a more profound and sophisticated manner. He infused new life into the song by elevating emotions densely at a low temperature without an explosive delivery.
Thama stated, "I wanted to sing this song in a more calm manner, like a story that can now be told with a smile," adding, "I hope this song brings renewed attention to the original, encouraging more people to discover Kim Hyun-chul's music."
He also expressed towards the original artist, Kim Hyun-chul, "Honestly, I am very grateful for compliments like 'a good remake' or 'a fresh interpretation.'
