BTS member Jin expressed his feelings about the conclusion of 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B.'
The Netflix variety show featuring Jin, 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B,' concluded with episodes 7 to 9, released on the 22nd. Jin impressed viewers with his multifaceted talent as a ‘jack of all trades,’ demonstrating his manual skills, sense, and dedication.
In this regard, Jin conveyed his wrap-up remarks through his agency, Big Hit Music, saying, “Filming 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B' last summer has finally come to an end. When I arrived on Ulleungdo and saw the actual Kian’s for the first time, I felt lost, but as I saw myself naturally blending in, I couldn’t help but smile. Honestly, there were tough moments, but looking back, it was an unforgettable and precious time.”
He added, “I sincerely want to thank Kian84, Ji Ye-eun, and all the guests for their hard work. And I also want to express my gratitude to the ARMY and viewers who have loved 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B' thus far.”
Jin played a supportive role in 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B,' handling various tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and repairs meticulously. His ability to accomplish anything earned him the nickname “MacGyver Jin.” Even when faced with inconveniences, he firmly maintained the basic concept and principles of the Kian’s while attracting attention with his humility, contrasting with the title of 'world class.'
Jin drove the program's popularity with his high level of public interest. He ranked first in the popularity sector for non-drama TV-OTT appearances in the third week of April, according to the popularity analysis company Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex. This ranking reflects a five-step increase from the previous week, proving that Jin’s authentic attitude in 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B' gained a warm response from viewers. Moreover, on April 17, Netflix revealed that 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B' secured 6th place in its global Top 10 series (non-English) ranking, making it the only variety show to make the top 10.
Meanwhile, Jin will return to his primary career in music. He will release his mini album 'Echo' on May 16 and meet with fans worldwide. 'Echo' captures various moments in life, resonating like ‘echoes’ that radiate in different forms. The album features seven tracks based on band sound, and the title track ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ sings about the irony of not being able to let go of each other easily, even as a relationship falls apart due to love.
