Singer-songwriter Ahn Yieun sings the various colors of spring.
Ahn Yieun will release her fifth mini album, 'It’s my spring, but it could be your spring,' today, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. through various streaming sites.
The title track, 'Tree,' is a song that captures the cheerfulness of spring with a bouncy band sound, embodying the vitality of new life. It features Ahn Yieun's cheerful yet quirky lyrics, starting from the imaginative idea that 'if you eat the seeds of fruit, fruit grows in your belly.'
The special video released alongside the album features Ahn Yieun transformed into a playful girl, capturing scenes in fresh colors that evoke spring. It adds enjoyment with objects reminiscent of childhood.
In addition, this album includes a total of six tracks, such as 'Hello's,' which expresses the meaning of 'hello' in various situations enriched by the narration of SUNGWOO; 'Not,' which depicts the speaker's fear of accepting spring; 'Swallow,' which conveys hope through intuitive lyrics infused with a swallow's story; 'Let’s play again tomorrow,' singing about the coexistence of joy and sorrow; and 'Tree (Inst.).'
The fifth mini album, 'It’s my spring, but it could be your spring,' unfolds the lovable yet lonely charm of spring through Ahn Yieun's unique storytelling. The cover image contrasts the usual spring vibe, depicting her biting intensely into a black rose. Spanning various genres, including rock, ballad, and waltz, Ahn Yieun has participated in writing, composing, and arranging all the tracks, once again proving her outstanding musical capabilities.
