The dog of actress Kang Ye-won is emerging as a 'scene-stealer' among viewers.
Recently aired in episode 24 of tvN STORY's 'Can I Love Now?', Kang Ye-won's appearance heading out for an after-date was depicted.
On this broadcast, Kang Ye-won revealed her newly moved house for the first time in 9 years. Located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Kang Ye-won's new abode features an open space and a duplex structure, providing a high ceiling that offers a refreshing feeling. Kang Ye-won said, “I am very interested in interior design, so there’s not a corner that I didn’t pay attention to,” and noted, “Moving houses gives me a feeling of rejuvenation.”
About a month later, a meeting between Kang Ye-won and Kim Sang-hoon took place. Kang Ye-won expressed her gratitude, mentioning the help she received from Kim Sang-hoon during her mother's urgent situation and prepared a lunchbox filled with galbi and yubu-chobap, hoping, ahead of the after-date, that “I hope you like it.”
Kang Ye-won brought her dog, Julie, in a pet stroller. The date location was Banpo Hangang Park, where the stylish white pet stroller and the pure white-furred dog Julie attracted attention. Known for her deep affection for pets, Kang Ye-won showed her friendly side by saying to Julie, “This is really nice, Julie. Where are we?”
As it had been a month since Kang Ye-won last met Kim Sang-hoon, she showed signs of nervousness. Especially, hoping that Julie would also take a liking to Kim Sang-hoon, she continued the conversation saying, “I hope Julie likes him,” “Who am I meeting today?”, and “Julie has to greet him a lot.”
Kang Ye-won and Kim Sang-hoon confirmed each other across the crosswalk. After greeting Kang Ye-won warmly, Kim Sang-hoon immediately greeted Julie as well. The cautious manner of approaching, considering that she might be wary of a stranger, was impressive. Just as Kang Ye-won said that “Julie likes people,” the adorable sight of Julie not being wary of Kim Sang-hoon brought a smile.
Especially, Julie, with her front paws on the stroller, seemed to steal the spotlight as she observed Kang Ye-won and Kim Sang-hoon's date from the front row. Occasionally blinking as if feeling a bit drowsy, and perhaps wishing for the date to go well, she behaved without causing any trouble. When Kang Ye-won screamed in surprise at the result of a lie detector test, Julie also appeared startled, showcasing her role as a scene-stealer in that day’s broadcast.
Recently, as stars' dogs have been gaining attention in various entertainment shows, Kang Ye-won's dog, Julie, also shone as a scene-stealer in that day’s broadcast, capturing viewers' attention. From her cute appearance to her sociable nature and Kang Ye-won's affectionate behavior towards her dog, various aspects were portrayed. Some viewers reacted by expressing a desire to see Kang Ye-won and Julie on 'I Live Alone,' like the couple Koo Kyo-hwan and Kkot-bun.
Meanwhile, the tvN STORY program 'Can I Love Now?', in which Kang Ye-won is currently appearing, airs every Monday at 8 p.m.
