Member Bae In of the boy group JUST B shared his feelings about coming out.
Bae In posted a message in English on his personal Instagram on the 24th, saying, "I truly wanted to share something with you. I am proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community. As a gay person. My queen RAY showed me the beauty of being different."
He then expressed his feelings with the message, "To anyone who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community or is still discovering it - this is for you. You are seen, you are loved, and you were born this way."
Recently, during the JUST B world tour "JST ODD" performance in LA, Bae In stated on stage to the fans, "I am proud to be a part of the LGBT community." "LGBT" is an acronym used to refer to sexual minorities both within and outside the LGBTQ+ rights movement.
Bae In is the first member of a male idol group with Korean nationality to come out. However, his agency, Blue Dot Entertainment, stated to OSEN, "As this is related to Bae In's personal life and sexual identity, we cannot provide a separate statement."
JUST B is a six-member boy group composed of Im Ji Min, Lee Gun Woo, Bae In, JM, Jeon Do Yeom, and Kim Sang Woo. They debuted in June 2021, and in JUST B, the "B" stands for "Burn," signifying a commitment to burning passion. Their representative songs include "DAMAGE," "TICK TOCK," and "RE=LOAD."
