BTS members RM and Jimin have been nominated for the American Music Awards.
According to the American Music Awards website on the 23rd, RM and Jimin have been nominated for the Favorite K-Pop Artist institutional sector.
This is the first time the two are challenging for an award at the American Music Awards as solo artists. BTS was nominated as the first winner in the same institutional sector in 2022. At that time, they won the Favorite Pop Duo or Group award, taking home a total of two trophies.
BTS performed at the American Music Awards in 2017 as the first Korean artists. They won the Favorite Social Artist award in 2018, marking the beginning of their historical achievements.
