MBC's representative entertainment show 'Born to Travel the World 4' (hereafter 'BTWW4', directed by Kim Ji-woo) has unveiled three group posters capturing their journey in the Nepal Himalayas, marking the beginning of the 'Chama-go-do Great March.'
The first poster showcases the cheerful appearances of Kian84, Pani Bottle, Lee Si-eon, and Dex, all dressed in traditional Nepalese attire and hats. The four, crossing their hands and displaying playful expressions, reveal an intimate and strong bond of 'true brother chemistry,' reminiscent of old friends, foreshadowing a warm atmosphere for season 4.
The second poster contains the challenges faced by the four at the world's strongest mercenary training camp, 'Gurkha.' Their expressions, having embarked on physical training, are filled with serious focus instead of playfulness. Dex captures attention with a strong physique and well-defined muscles typical of a former Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) member, while Kian84 and Lee Si-eon present robust arm and leg muscles, contributing an unexpected twist. In contrast, Pani Bottle shows signs of fatigue from high-altitude training, revealing a realistic aspect befitting an icon of hardship.
The third poster depicts the four on the traditional Nepalese rotating swing, 'Rote-ping.' Sitting side by side on a massive wooden structure woven with neighborhood youths, they blend in seamlessly with the local culture, showing no awkwardness as they immerse themselves in daily life.
The production team noted, 'This poster is not merely a concept shoot but captures genuine moments created by the four as they experience local life and culture firsthand.' They added, 'The journey retracing the Chama-go-do will deliver unpredictable laughter and profound resonance in every episode.'
MBC's 'BTWW4' is a season that sheds light on highland civilizations and the human inner self, themed around the original forms of nature, 'mountains,' following the 'water' of Madagascar, 'fire' of India, and 'grass' of the Amazon. This journey, starting in the Nepal Himalayas, will follow the Chama-go-do and trace thousands of years of history and human stories.
'BTWW4' will premiere on May 11, with behind-the-scenes videos released every Tuesday and Friday through the official YouTube channel 'BTWW BASS.' Following the footsteps of the four, genuine stories that seep into highland life will unfold.
