Particularly, the drama is expected to guarantee success with the inclusion of 'cheat-code' actors Ham Eun-jeong, Seo Jun-young, Park Yoon-jae, and Lee Ga-ryeong, along with the collaboration of veteran supporting actors and a high-quality production team, generating great anticipation among drama fans.
As the premiere approaches in three days, the cast and production team of 'The Queen's House' revealed keywords to enhance viewer immersion, providing a helpful guide for an exciting first broadcast.
First, Ham Eun-jeong, who plays Kang Jae-in, a queen of vengeance due to the betrayal of her closest friend and husband, noted, 'The Queen's House is like a matured wine,' saying that 'the emotions of the characters accumulate over time, delivering them intensely and beautifully like wine.' On the other hand, Seo Jun-young, who plays Kim Do-yoon, who forms a strategic alliance with Jae-in following a shocking event, defined it as 'a drama where characters each believe their actions are justified, creating tension through their interactions.'
Meanwhile, Park Yoon-jae, who plays the dual-natured character Hwang Gi-chan, who harbors ambitions to engulf the YL Group, described the piece as 'a well-polished sports car.' He added, 'Like a sports car, it will deliver overwhelming thrills to prospective viewers with its fast-paced development and colorful characters,' arousing further curiosity.
Additionally, Lee Ga-ryeong, who plays Kang Se-ri, who engages in a forbidden love affair with her friend's husband due to twisted desires towards her best friend, stated, 'This drama is like an amusement park,' saying that 'like an amusement park with various attractions that are exciting and fun but sometimes frightening, 'The Queen's House' will offer great joy to viewers with its diverse episodes and complex characters' emotions and relationships.'
Finally, directors Hong Eun-mi and Kim Min-joo picked three keywords each. Director Hong hinted, 'Family, belief, and humanism are clearly expressed as the drama unfolds, so I would appreciate it if you could tune in.' Furthermore, writer Kim Min-joo selected 'the inevitable return, map of desires, and humanity' as keywords for 'The Queen's House,' explaining their meanings. 'I hope viewers can reflect on what the correct life and choices are through the protagonists swayed by their desires, and I want to tell a story about the power of love and forgiveness that rises even in despair,' the writer mentioned, raising expectations for the upcoming broadcast.
