Actors Yeonwoo and Kim Hyun-jin will appear in 'Lovephobia,' showcasing a special romance.
Production company WeMad is partnering with LG U+ Mobile TV to launch the new drama 'Lovephobia (written by Lee Se-ryeong, directed by Wang Hye-ryeong)' this June.
The LG U+ Mobile TV original content 'Lovephobia' is a work that features a story of the emotionally 100% romantic novel writer Seon-ho and the representative of the emotionless 0% AI dating program 'It's You', Bi-a, meeting to understand each other and searching for love.
In the drama, Yeonwoo plays the role of Yoon Bi-a, the representative of the AI dating app 'It's You'. Bi-a has a trauma that prevents her from being with others for more than an hour. Living in a desolate storm, Bi-a embarks on developing a generative AI dating app with her only friend she can rely on, Jae-hee. Bi-a is a character who appears cold and composed on the outside, seemingly without any blood beneath the surface, but she also harbors internal pain, and there is great anticipation for how Yeonwoo will portray her colorful aspects.
Kim Hyun-jin plays the role of Han Seon-ho, a bestselling romance novel writer. Han Seon-ho has become one of the hottest writers in South Korea, writing a best-seller myth each time she publishes. However, beneath her idol-like handsome appearance and popularity, which allows for pre-sales before the publication date, there is an unseen pain. Moreover, when Bi-a appears before the life-or-death crisis facing Seon-ho, she joins the 'It's You' project, and her life begins to change.
