The British band Coldplay is gaining attention for imitating a famous meme of Big Bang's Taeyang.
Coldplay met with Korean fans on the 22nd at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, where they held their 4th concert of 'LIVE NATION PRESENTS COLDPLAY: MUSIC OF THE SPHERES DELIVERED BY DHL'.
On this day, Coldplay's vocalist Chris Martin drew attention by greeting the audience as if singing, saying in Korean, "I missed you all so much."
Earlier, Taeyang generated a hot response online by singing "I missed you all" like a song at his concert, and this has since become his trademark. Chris Martin followed this meme of Taeyang.
Chris Martin then added, "I missed you all too" and "Thank you, Twice," suggesting that it was something Twice informed him about.
Subsequently, Twice's Jihyo revealed through a fan communication platform that she had informed Chris Martin.
In addition, Taeyang responded by posting a video on his SNS of Chris Martin imitating his meme, saying, "Hey, Coldplay, I missed you too," eliciting laughter.
Meanwhile, Coldplay is set to hold their second concert in Korea at the Goyang Sports Complex from the 16th to the 18th, with additional dates on the 19th, 22nd, 24th, and 25th, totaling six performances. This is expected to be the largest single-venue concert by a visiting artist in history, with approximately 300,000 audience members anticipated.
