Amidst a rare 'double love affair' scandal, Japanese star Nagano Mei's South Korean romantic partner, actor Kim Mu-joon, has denied the dating rumors.

On the 23rd, Kim Mu-joon's agency 9ato Entertainment told OSEN, "The dating rumors with Nagano Mei are not true," adding, "They are close colleagues."

Previously, Japanese media Weekly Bunshun reported the affair between Nagano Mei and Tanaka Kei, who is 15 years her senior. Tanaka Kei, who married former actress Sakura, who is a year older than him, in 2011, has two daughters. After being involved in a previous infidelity scandal with a gravure idol in 2015, he faced renewed allegations of infidelity after photos of skinship with Nagano Mei were made public.

In particular, Weekly Bunshun drew attention by reporting that Nagano Mei was also dating a South Korean actor in addition to Tanaka Kei. The report indicated that she had invited the South Korean actor, with whom she is currently appearing in a drama, to her home mansion several times. Along with this, photos of Nagano Mei and the South Korean actor taken in front of the mansion were also released.

Nagano Mei is currently appearing in the TBS drama 'Caster,' in which South Korean actor Kim Mu-joon has been cast as a newsroom assistant director, performing passionately. However, Kim Mu-joon's side dismissed the dating rumors, stating, "They are close colleagues."
