The character Seo Hyun-cheol in 'Villains Everywhere' caused distress for the entire family with a diagnosis of colon cancer.
In the episode aired on the 23rd, KBS2TV's sitcom 'Villains Everywhere' (directed by Kim Young-jo, Choi Jeong-eun, written by Chae Woo, Park Kwang-yeon) featured the family in turmoil over Seo Hyun-cheol's (played by Seo Hyun-cheol) colon cancer diagnosis.
One day, Seo Hyun-cheol noticed blood in his stool. Oh Na-ra (played by Oh Na-ra) immediately headed to the hospital with Seo Hyun-cheol, and upon arrival, Seo Hyun-cheol was diagnosed with colon cancer.
In response, daughter Seo I-na devoted herself to preparing for physical training for her father, while son Seo Yeong-hun, who had no interest in studying, was seen focusing on his studies. The rest of the family, including Song Jin-woo (played by Song Jin-woo) and Oh Yu-jin (played by So Yoo-jin), went out at night to find mushrooms that are good for colon cancer, only to be attacked by wild boars, putting themselves in danger.
However, Seo Hyun-cheol's diagnosis was a misdiagnosis. He had been enduring the pain and had lashed out at his superior, Mr. Kim, and even submitted his resignation. Once he learned it was hemorrhoids, Seo Hyun-cheol pleaded, "Mr. Kim, I have been reborn as a new person starting today. I will be loyal to you until death. I still have an APT. loan left. Please let me live just this once," while crying and begging.
The real problem lay elsewhere. The daughter, who used to enjoy drinking, got herself together, and the son, who was obsessed with gaming, focused on his studies. This was all due to Seo Hyun-cheol's illness. Seo Hyun-cheol delayed his hemorrhoid surgery and endured the pain to encourage their focus.
In the end, the hemorrhoids burst. None of the family members blamed Seo Hyun-cheol. Instead, they only felt relieved that he was safe. Seo Hyun-cheol asked, "Are you all forgiving me?" and Oh Na-ra replied, "We are all family, so where is there to forgive?" giving a small smile.
Meanwhile, Oh Na-ra dreamed of having a housekeeping robot, Kang-woo (played by Kim Kang-woo), as she grew weary of household chores. Kang-woo even loved Oh Na-ra with his robotic body, keeping a watchful eye on Seo Hyun-cheol.
In response, Oh Na-ra told the robot, "My husband is not perfect like you, lacks awareness, is pathetic, but I love that person. Love embraces the messiness and shabby aspects, just as he has done for me until now," teaching the robot about love, and the robot, showing a handsome demeanor, faced death in place of Seo Hyun-cheol.
