'Nine Puzzle' has unveiled its teaser.
On the 22nd, the team behind the Disney+ original series 'Nine Puzzle' (directed by Yoon Jong-bin) released the teaser trailer.
'Nine Puzzle' is a mystery thriller that delves into the secrets of a serial murder case that restarted with mysterious puzzle pieces, starring 'Ina' (Kim Da-mi), the sole witness of an unsolved case from 10 years ago and a current profiler, and 'HANSSEM' detective 'Han-sam' (Son Suk-ku), who continues to suspect him as a suspect.
The released teaser trailer focuses on a high school student, Ina, who discovered a puzzle piece, the only trace of the murderer, at the scene of her uncle's murder 10 years ago. The ominous piano melody combined with the pouring rain heightens the stylish and sophisticated atmosphere unique to the well-made mystery thriller 'Nine Puzzle,' drawing viewers in.
Ten years later, Ina reappears as a profiler, sparking curiosity about how she will track down the murderer of the serial killings that resumed alongside the puzzle, as she was a suspect in the past case. Meanwhile, Detective 'HANSSEM' (Son Suk-ku), who persistently suspects Ina, notes, “I still think Yoon Ina is a strong suspect,” while her expression of uncertainty when she asks, “Am I the culprit in this case?” intersects with his sharp gaze, raising anticipation for the unique chemistry between the two.
Additionally, the tagline “Lost memories, mysterious puzzles, restarted murders” amplifies expectations for intricately woven storytelling based on the intriguing concept that the nine puzzles complete a single truth. The well-made masterpiece 'Nine Puzzle,' completed with the fresh collaboration of director Yoon Jong-bin of 'Suriname,' 'The Drug King,' and 'The Outlaws: The Age of Bad Guys,' alongside Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku, is set to captivate global viewers with a new style of mystery thriller never seen before.
With Yoon Jong-bin's sophisticated and sensuous direction, along with the unique and charming chemistry of Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku, 'Nine Puzzle' is drawing attention with its thrilling suspense that offers the best immersion. It will release 6 episodes on May 21, 3 episodes on May 28, and 2 episodes on June 4, totaling 11 episodes.
