Choo Sung Hoon, a mixed martial arts fighter, and model Yano Siho's daughter, Choo Sarang, has reportedly been experiencing trauma since her grandfather's passing.
On the 22nd, Yano Siho posted on her social media account, "I never thought the judo uniform would suit her like this. It contains my feelings for my grandfather who has passed away."
Yano Siho said, "In fact, after my grandfather's death, every few months suddenly, I would think of him and start crying. For nearly two years, this continued, and for Sarang, her first experience of 'the death of a person' has left a significant trauma, and each time she starts crying, I've been worried about how she can overcome this.
She added, "Recently, the crying has stopped, and seeing this makes me feel that she may have overcome something within her. I'm truly grateful to have had this opportunity."
Choo Sarang previously expressed a desire to wear a judo uniform during her appearance in ENA's "My Kid's Private Life," saying, while wearing a judo uniform with 'Choo Sung Hoon' on her right arm and 'Choo Gye Yi' on her left, "I love you, grandfather. I want to see you," and shed tears.
Choo Gye Yi, the father of Choo Sung Hoon and grandfather of Choo Sarang, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on April 18, 2023, at the age of 73.
Choo Sung Hoon said after his father's passing, "He was kind, strong, knowledgeable, and taught me many things. But he was also a very scary father. When I did something wrong as a child, I would be beaten as if I would die. However, I never hated my father. He was my superhero. That father suddenly passed away today. I wanted to have more conversations with him and there was so much more he needed to teach me. We never even had a drink together. There were so many things I wanted to do together. Now that things are starting to go well for me little by little, I wanted to go around together and eat delicious food. In the future, when I need to make important choices in life as my father taught me, I will choose the difficult path. That is the path to success! I will engrave that message in my heart and live diligently. When we meet again, I want to play golf, which my father loved, and drink together."
Yano Siho also noted, "Life is unpredictable, so it's important to listen carefully to people's stories, think, and act in this moment. If you have something you want to think about or do, you must act immediately. My father taught me the importance of this. I will never forget the warmth and kindness my father always wrapped around me. I want to cherish the memories of the time we spent together and live moving forward with them in my heart."
