HAEIN of the group NewJeans shared a handwritten letter to fans as she celebrated her birthday amid a hiatus.

On the 22nd, HAEIN revealed several handwritten letters on the SNS account run by the NewJeans members, saying, "I tried writing short letters to the Bunnies (fandom name)."

The disclosed photos contained HAEIN's handwritten replies to messages sent by some fans for her birthday, which caught attention.

She noted, "Thank you so much for the birthday wishes," adding, "Each letter was very encouraging and comforting, and I really wished I could reply to all of them. But I'm worried that the Bunnies who didn't receive a reply might feel hurt because I couldn't do that."

She continued, "I hope you won't feel too disappointed. I cherish every single one of the Bunnies who support us equally. Thank you so much," and added, "It was a very grateful birthday while reading the letters the Bunnies gave me."

Additionally, in response to a letter from a fan, HAEIN said, "Thank you so much. This can't be fully expressed in words, but I believe that I can grow from this trial as you wrote in your letter. Thank you so much for giving me strength with your good words."

Meanwhile, on the 21st of last month, the Civil Division 50 of the Seoul Central District Court (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) accepted and ruled on the injunction request filed by ADOR against the five members of NewJeans regarding 'protection of the agency's status and prohibition of advertising contracts.'

According to the court's ruling, entertainment activities on their own (including by legal representatives) or through third parties are prohibited without prior approval or consent from ADOR, making it difficult for the members to use their new name 'NJZ' as well as engage in independent activities. Subsequently, the NewJeans members submitted an objection to the court's ruling and declared a hiatus. However, on the 16th, the court dismissed the injunction objection filed by the five members of NewJeans, upholding the decision to prohibit independent activities. As a result, the members showed a willingness to continue the legal battle by filing an immediate appeal.
