TWS (Shin-yu, Do-hoon, Young-jae, Hanjin Logistics, Ji-hoon, Kyung-min) held the 'TWS Comeback Showcase 'TRY WITH US'' on the 21st at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The showcase was also broadcast live via the global superfan platform Weverse, watched by fans from 141 countries and regions, including Korea, Japan, China, Indonesia, and the United States.
TWS introduced a new album to its fandom named 42, and unveiled a total of three tracks, including the title song 'Isn't it great to jump according to your heart?' As a talented group, their evolved performance struck a chord with fans. The members energized the venue, delivering a clear live performance while running around the stage without a break.
The opening stage 'Lucky to be loved' attracted attention with choreography that matched the warm and delicate emotional line of the song, which was both poignant and powerful. The stage for 'Isn't it great to jump according to your heart?' provided a refreshing pleasure with TWS's free and lively movements. The 'Random Play' stage excited fans, giving the feeling of embarking on an impromptu journey with the members.
In the corner 'TRY! 20 WITH US,' where random keywords were drawn to introduce the songs, TWS's wit shone. Do-hoon, who drew 'backpack' and 'emotion' as words to introduce 'Freestyle,' gave a big laugh with freestyle rap starting with "Backpack, I won’t wear it to school and will get scolded by the teacher". Shin-yu, who drew 'improvisation' and 'challenge' as keywords to describe 'GO BACK,' elicited cheers from fans by saying, "42, I’ll challenge you improvisationally. Go out with me."
TWS also showcased its charming appeal by performing the 'HAPPY ACCIDENTS' game, acting out the dreams of being twenty in daily life. The members enjoyed a sense of center stage while dancing freestyle and showed off driving skills while holding toy steering wheels, creating joyful memories with fans.
As the showcase concluded, TWS expressed heartfelt sentiments, saying, "I believe that youth is not only for those in their twenties. I hope this new album resonates with everyone experiencing their own youth in various emotions." They added, "This album is filled with the hottest moments of youth. And I felt that only 42 could complete that youth. We will work very hard, so please always watch over us."
TWS will commence its full-scale music broadcast activities starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 24th.
