Singer Jeong Dong-won made a splash by showcasing a stormy eating show on board during a grant on 'It's a Blessing to Rest.'
On the 21st, Jeong Dong-won participated in the 45th episode of the MBC entertainment program 'It's a Blessing to Rest' (hereinafter referred to as 'Blessing'). He presented a story about operating a deserted island restaurant with Boom, Young-tak, and Yang Se-hyung, following the previous episode.
That day, Jeong Dong-won began 'political net fishing,' where he had to pull a 120M giant net. He drew attention by demonstrating quickness and enthusiasm, typical of the youngest participant, actively participating in the fishing process. He even amazed everyone by effortlessly catching fish from the net with his bare hands.
After tasting the mackerel sashimi and seasoned fish completed by Chef Ahn Yoo-seong, the master chef on board, Jeong Dong-won exclaimed, "It feels like eating the roe from soy sauce marinated crabs" as he became immersed in the deep flavors. He then showcased a stormy eating show with vivid reactions as he sampled various sashimi, including squid, rockfish, mullet, baby octopus, and more.
Afterward, Jeong Dong-won executed a beard makeup using squid ink, transforming from a boyish appearance into a manly figure, which elicited laughter. Additionally, on the deserted island, he burst into an impromptu 'I'll take responsibility' dance performance, effectively playing the role of the mood maker of the program.
Jeong Dong-won established himself as a 'hexagonal artist' while actively participating in various fields, including his activity as the K-pop idol JD1, concerts, and music releases. He made a comeback on March 13 with the release of his second full-length album 'The Gift of the Tall Man' and successfully completed his recent solo concert 'Jeong Dong-won Story' in Seoul, officially starting a nationwide tour.
