Singer-songwriter Kim Ji-soo and Swedish Laundry are marking the end of their 10-year journey with Showpar Entertainment.
The agency, Showpar Entertainment, explained in an official statement on the 22nd that, "After thorough discussions with the two artists, we decided to conclude their exclusive contract, bringing a beautiful journey to a close."
They added, "It was a great joy to walk alongside the two artists who started with Showpar Entertainment for more than 10 years. The brilliant days we spent with them will remain as irreplaceable and precious memories."
They further stated, "We hope that the two artists will continue to be supported with unwavering love and encouragement in their shining future ahead."
Kim Ji-soo first gained recognition by granting a performance on the cable channel Mnet audition program "Superstar K2" in 2010. After signing an exclusive contract with Showpar Entertainment, she made her official debut in 2011 and has been active in releasing various music with a poignant yet powerful voice.
Swedish Laundry, which debuted with the single album "Happy Birthday Waltz" in 2012, has been loved by music fans for a long time as a leading female duo in the indie scene while releasing a variety of colorful songs such as "Voice," "Two Hands, To You (Feat. Choi Baek-ho)," "Frustrated Dawn," and "Still I Love You."
