Actor Kim Jae-wook paid tribute to the late Miho Nakayama, who passed away last year.
Kim Jae-wook posted a lengthy message on his social media on the 22nd, saying, "The moment I realized we would be able to work together, the moment we first met in the costume room, staring into my eyes and smiling for a long time, the countless moments we shared honestly and openly without deceit, during the difficult and challenging shoots—those unforgettable special memories filled this summer."
He expressed his condolences, saying, "I will treasure it dearly. It was an honor to be able to be with you. May you rest in peace."
Kim Jae-wook had previously collaborated with Miho Nakayama in the film 'Butterfly Sleep' released in 2018.
Meanwhile, Miho Nakayama was a Japanese singer and actress who was beloved by the nickname "Miporin." In the 1980s and 1990s, she was widely regarded as the most beautiful woman in Japan during the peak of her career, captivating fans as a star of numerous popular TV shows and as a J-pop singer. She gained international acclaim for the film 'Love Letter' by director Shunji Iwai and had many fans in South Korea.
Miho Nakayama was found dead at her home in Shibuya, Tokyo, last December. She was 54 years old. The cause of death was later revealed to be an accidental drowning during bathing.
