In the Channel A lifestyle detective drama 'The detectives' trade secrets,' Defconn, Yoo In-na, and Kim Poong are 'overwhelmed' by the story of a client searching for their mother, who was separated during childhood.
In the episode airing on the 21st, the 'Baekho Detective Group' will bring a heart-wrenching 'tear reservation' story, saying, 'You need to prepare some tissues.' The client shared their story with the Baekho Detective Group, stating, 'Please find my mother, who I was separated from over 40 years ago.' The client's father went in and out of prison for assault, and due to that father, the family's finances crumbled, causing the client's mother to take on the role of breadwinner by delivering food from a restaurant.
However, one day, she was seen coming out of an inn building with a food tray, leading to suspicions of infidelity. Eventually, the mother was driven away by the client's paternal grandmother. When the client returned home, their mother was already gone, and the paternal grandmother said that the mother 'went out to be with a man.' After being released from prison, the father returned home, despondent, and spent his days drinking. On one occasion, he threatened the client, then 6 years old, and the client's younger sister, then 4, saying, 'Let's die together.'
That night, the younger sister went missing, and all the villagers went out searching for her. However, the sister returned as a cold corpse, and the client had to witness their father being taken away by the police. It was revealed that the father tried to follow the sister in death after sending her away first.
Defconn expressed sadness, saying, 'It's not a drama story; it's reality, so it's really scary... Does that make sense?' in response to the heart-wrenching childhood story of the client. Yoo In-na also felt emotional, saying, 'It's so pitiful.' Meanwhile, the client attempted to find their mother over 20 years ago but had no choice but to give up.
The reasons why the client, with a tragic story, gave up searching for their mother, and what happened afterwards can be confirmed in the episode of 'The detectives' trade secrets' airing on Channel A at 9:30 p.m. on the 21st.
