BTS member J-Hope graced the front page of major Japanese sports newspapers.

On the 19th, three newspapers including Sports Hochi, Daily Sports, and Nikkan Sports issued special editions to commemorate J-Hope's concert 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in JAPAN.' This is the first time a South Korean solo artist has had simultaneous special editions published by three major local dailies.

This is regarded as an exceptional case proving his distinct influence. On the day of the concert, fans gathered in large numbers at convenience stores near Saitama Super Arena, demonstrating the high local interest. J-Hope's trip to Japan is his first in about two and a half years since the 2022 MAMA Awards in November 2022.

Local dailies focused on J-Hope's Saitama concert, significantly covering his activities as a solo artist continuing his world tour. They introduced various aspects of his music career, including his greeting ahead of his first solo concert in Japan, as well as his recently released songs 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' and 'MONA LISA.'

The concert held on the 19th and 20th in Saitama sold out all tickets immediately upon release, proving its intense popularity. J-Hope overwhelmed the stage with energy, filling Saitama Super Arena. He captivated over 40,000 attendees with his steady vocal ability and performance, expressing, "It's been a really long time since I came to Japan. I felt once again how happy it is to be able to be with so many people. I will carry the hot love of ARMY (the fandom name) in my heart and work hard for upcoming performances."

J-Hope is currently conducting his world tour 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE,' starting from a concert in Seoul in February. He attracted about 178,000 attendees across six cities in North America and is currently continuing his Asia tour. J-Hope is set to perform at the Kyocera Dome Osaka on May 31 and June 1.
