Koyote member Kim Jong-min shed tears over not being able to hold a wedding with his father, who passed away too soon. The '1 Night 2 Days' production team touched his heart by creating new memories with his father.

The '1 Night 2 Days' show, broadcast on the afternoon of 20th, featured Kim Jong-min's 'pre-wedding.' To celebrate Kim Jong-min's wedding that day, the production team had prepared a special event during the filming of '1 Night 2 Days.'

Kim Jong-min received heartfelt congratulations from the members who participated in '1 Night 2 Days.' In a video message, Lee Soo-geun said, "I sincerely congratulate my beloved Jong-min on his wedding, and I want to say one thing: 'Live like brother Soo-geun, neither more nor less.' Always respect your wife and be a husband who can earn respect from her. How about naming the beautiful nephew-to-be 'Ilbak-i'?" and shared advice as a wedding senior.

Next, Cha Tae-hyun said, "Jong-min, I sincerely congratulate you on your marriage. Kim Jong-min's mother expressed her love through a letter she wrote to her son. She said, "To my beloved son, I have never been able to say 'I love you, my son' in my life, as I am a mother who has been blunt and distant. Since you are getting married, I’m writing this handwritten letter for the first time in a while to congratulate you. I remember when your father passed away at such a young age, you said, 'I am the only man in the house,' and that you would be the head of the family from that moment on—it was both heartbreaking and rewarding, and even now it makes my heart ache to think about it. I can’t express how proud I am of you, who has endured and worked hard all on your own through difficult times."

She continued, "I have given you so little and only received so much, and now I am truly happy that you are getting married and finding a good partner, even if it’s a bit late. I hope only happiness fills your future, and as you walk your path with her, I pray it is a path of flowers. Just thinking about a son who resembles you or a daughter who resembles your wife brings a smile to my face. I have lived a happy life because of you, and now I really wish for your happiness. Thank you and I love you."

Kim Jong-min lamented the absence of his father, who passed away too early due to a boating accident. He felt regret over not being able to give an allowance even once and not being able to share happiness together over the years. Kim Jong-min’s mother said, "The absence of your father has probably put a lot of pressure on you. That’s why I think you matured early. He must have boasted about you a lot. You were extroverted and well-liked by others."

To support Kim Jong-min, the '1 Night 2 Days' production team prepared a special gift. They recreated photos captured with Kim Jong-min, his father, and family memories using AI. From images of Kim Jong-min's father smiling brightly to their wedding photo and a photo of him with his son in formal attire, these moments were brought back to life. Kim Jong-min marveled at the transformation, saying, "It’s amazing. I was so young that I couldn’t really remember much. I don’t look at those photos every day. I do remember. I used to think I didn’t resemble my father at all."

After receiving the letter from his mother and memories of his father, Kim Jong-min eventually shed tears. He then left a video message for his parents, saying, "Mother, Father, I'm getting married. I have grown up so much, and though it's late, it would have been better if you were with me. I regret the most that I couldn't give you an allowance even once. I should have bought you something nice or given you a present, but I couldn't do that, and it makes me really sad."

Kim Jong-min said, "Mom, you’re already over seventy, and I feel like time is flying by so quickly. I will try to do my best to take care of you day by day. Now that I'm getting married, I will live happily. I promise I will stay healthy and one day I will definitely go see Dad. Thank you so much, and I love you."
