The band LUCY heated up Taipei.
LUCY successfully completed their solo concert '2025 LUCY CONCERT 'CHECK IN: TAIPEI'' on the 18th at Zepp New Taipei.
Through 'CHECK IN,' LUCY returned to Taipei after about a year, marking this as their third solo performance in the area.
The concert began with member Sin Ye-chan performing Paganini's 'Caprice No. 24,' followed by the addition of Jo Won-sang's BASS sound, kicking off LUCY's delightful band performance. The atmosphere heated up with 'Knowhow,' and LUCY captivated local fans with a refreshing setlist including 'Jogging,' 'Always Keep the Engine On,' 'Light Sleep,' 'Game,' 'Straight Line,' and 'One by One.'
LUCY made efforts to communicate with fans in the local language, fostering a closer connection. Local fans also prepared colorful lights and offered rainbow-like support to the members throughout the concert. After the main performance ended, fans filled the venue with their voices, singing 'Falling Flower' in Korean as an encore request, and during the photo time, they presented a card section event with the phrase 'Let’s meet again,' touching the members. Even after the encore performance ended, when fans continued to request, LUCY chose 'A Day in the 21st Century' in response to the enthusiastic support from local fans.
After finishing the solo concert in Taipei successfully, LUCY said, "Before going on stage, I saw great senior artists' signatures backstage. It was really meaningful for us to leave our signatures in the same space, and I’m so happy to meet you in such a meaningful venue." They added, "It seemed that all the audience genuinely enjoyed it from start to finish, and I was thrilled to communicate through music. I hope our sincerity reached you, and I want to meet again."
LUCY will release their mini-album 'Wajangchang' through various music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on the 23rd, and will hold their seventh solo concert 'Wajangchang' at Korea University Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul from May 2 to 4.
